All About Product Rights!
Basically, there are 6 "broad" categories of product rights you may be granted with a given product:

1. Basic Use/Personal Use Rights: Under this right, you can use the product as much as you like, but not resell or distribute it to someone else! If a book comes with basic use rights, you can read it, tear it, or dump it, but not sell it for profit or even distribute it freely to your best friend!
2. Giveaway Rights: Pretty much self-explanatory - you are allowed to use and giveaway the product to others for free. However, you cannot sell it for profit!
3. Basic Resell Rights: This is more popularly known as "Resell Rights", although the actual term is "NON-Transferable Resell Rights". A resell rights product grants you permission to sell it to others for profit or even give it away (some authors however restrict you from giving away resell rights products for free)!
However, you are not allowed to pass on the resell rights to the end user. When you sell such a product to the end user, you can pass only "Basic Use Rights" to the product to him!
4. Master Resell Rights, or "Transferable Resell Rights": Unlike Basic Resell Rights, Master Resell Rights not only allows you to sell the product for profit but even transfer resell rights to the product to your customers! Again, just like resell rights products, some Master Resell Rights products restrict you from giving them away for free!
5. Private Label Rights: My favorite! :-) Private Label Rights allows you everything that the others rights don’t - it allows you to modify, reverse engineer, and even claim authorship of a given product! While the rights vary from seller to seller, most would allow you to modify the product for your own use.
So far as selling is concerned, some authors restrict you from selling the product at all, others allow you to sell only Basic Use Rights, Resell Rights or Master Resell Rights to the product, and yet others allow you to sell the Private Label Rights to the end-user!
"Source Code Rights" is same as Private Label Rights, except that the word "source code" is usually used in case of softwares and scripts!
6. Unrestricted Private Label Rights: If you are granted Unrestricted Private Label Rights to a product, you are basically provided unlimited freedom with regards to what you can do with it. Such a right usually allows you anything and everything, from giving away the product to selling it with Personal use Rights, Resell Rights, Master Resell Rights or even Private Label Rights!
